Rainbow Space is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how Rainbow Space collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users of the Rainbow Space mobile application (“App”). This policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by Rainbow Space.

1. Agreement to Policy
By accessing our App or using the Services, you signify your agreement to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy applies only to information collected through the App.
2. Information We Collect
Rainbow Space collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When you register and use the App, you may provide your ID, name, surname, nickname, email address, gender identity, pronouns, and age group. This information is collected to provide personalized content and community features.
Due to the nature of the Services, we may collect information relating to mental health and personal identity, including reflections on mental health status, current mood, symptoms, previous diagnoses, personal identity, relationship information, sexual orientation, personal history, and additional profile information. This information is collected only when you provide it, is not sold, and is used to provide appropriate content.
The App does not directly collect or process credit or debit card data. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by third-party platforms such as Stripe, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.
We may automatically collect information such as mobile device type, device ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and information about App usage. Our Services may include third-party SDKs that collect activity information. Some devices include resettable advertising IDs that may be used by service providers for advertising purposes.
We may collect aggregated or deidentified information for internal product improvement. This information will not identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to provide the Services, personalize content and community features, respond to requests, fulfill agreements, complete transactions, send operational communications, improve user experience, comply with legal obligations, and manage our business.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data based on explicit consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in providing and improving services, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. With Whom and Why We Share Your Information
Your data is stored securely and is never sold. We may share information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, mailing, analytics, payment, and operational providers. We may also share information when necessary to fulfill requests, complete transactions, comply with law, respond to legal process, investigate fraud or illegal activity, protect rights and safety, or manage business transactions.
The App may allow you to share data with social media accounts only with your permission.
6. Data Subject Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. You can withdraw consent by contacting hi@rainbowspace.uk. You can also delete your data through the account deletion process within the App.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our data processing activities infringe your rights.
7. Data Retention and Storage
Your data is kept while your account is active and as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. When we destroy personal information, we do so in a way designed to prevent restoration or reconstruction.
8. Data Security
We employ physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information. However, no App is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to the App.
9. International Users
Information collected through the App is processed in the United Kingdom and may be processed by affiliates or third parties in other countries. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your country of residence.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices or legal requirements. Revisions will be posted within the App and effective immediately upon posting.
